The Coordinator, Certification Programs, provides administrative support for the department and assists the Certification operations team with the processing of certification requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED):
Administrative support including:
Coordinating Certification Program Working Group (CPWG) meeting logistics including venue contracts; website registration pages; room set-up; catering; printing/shipping of name badges, table tent cards and sign-in sheets; and on-site support as needed
Scheduling and starting CPWG online meetings as needed
Assigning & managing user accounts on the CPWG website
Reviewing CPWG contributions for adherence to CTIA guidelines, assigning contribution numbers, posting to the CPWG website and notifying working group members
Mailing packages to test labs, working group members, etc.
Compiling weekly certified device highlights
Preparing expense reports for Certification department staff
Processing vendor invoices and consulting agreements
Ordering office supplies for Certification department staff
Other support as needed by the department
Certification Program operations support including:
Assigning & managing user accounts on the certification databases
Monitoring the certification email boxes and determining appropriate treatment of emails received
Assisting the Certification Program Operations Manager with the processing of certification requests, which could include:
Reviewing/approving documents submitted by vendors
Working with accounting to issue certification fee invoices Preparing monthly certified device reports required for revenue-share agreements with external organizations
Serving as primary back-up to the Certification Program Operations Manager
Assisting with the testing and debugging of new certification database features

COMPUTER SKILLS: Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Four-year college degree required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Detail-oriented with knowledge of grammar and punctuation. Proficiency in proofreading skills and strong communications skills are required.
