The Center for Advance Technology in Telecommunications (CATT) (http://catt.nyu.edu/) at the Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Researcher/Post Doctoral Associate to join an exciting SRC-funded project in TeraHertz (THz) communications. NYU Wireless is widely-recognized as one of the world leading institutions in fifth generation (5G) wireless communications and has conducted pioneering work in millimeter wave (mmWave) communications and other key aspects of 5G. The center belongs to New York University (NYU), one of the top private universities in the United States.
This project is entitled "ComSenTer: Converged THz Communications and Sensing" is a large multi-university collaborative effort with the top THz device and circuit designers. NYU is leading the systems effort in integrating the technology into end-to-end communication and sensing technology. Candidates will be responsible for interfacing with the circuits design teams, developing high-performance signal processing algorithms and coordinating the implementation in hardware and software.

The successful candidate will be driven, creative and team-oriented with a passion for high-impact research. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in wireless communications, signal processing and software-defined radios. RF or circuit design experience is preferred. We welcome applicants from recent PhDs and individuals seeking additional postdoctoral training. Eligible candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
