Do it here. What you’ll be doing... As a OneTalk Messaging Architect, you will be responsible for architecting, defining, and deploying on the OneTalk Business Messaging product strategy and roadmap. You will look to design enhanced features that will improve the product and increase the competitive advantage that Verizon OneTalk has over other products. You will steer technical work towards the product vision. This will also include opportunities to interface with other Verizon messaging products such as Message Archive and EMAG. This role will partner closely with the business product owner to understand business needs and translate the business needs into technical requirements. Your role will encompass all aspects of the end-to-end product development life cycle from concept formulation to service deployment.
What we’re looking for... This position is a technical role and needs someone who can understand Marketing User Stories, turn them into technical requirements and design an architecture to meet the MMP. Some of the application servers are developed in-house and it is expected that you have the ability to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly. You have the communications skills of a motivated and independent self-starter who can document, as well as talk to, the design. You will be expected to act as an “owner” of the product and take a personal interest in all aspects of its success.
