University Advancement is seeking a Computer Services Consultant II to join its team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing support, assistance, and advice in the area of computer hardware, software, and networks to staff and students. This person will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, security, and troubleshooting of all employee workstations, printers, phones and other mobile devices including physical hardware, virtualization solutions, and various software services. Areas of expected knowledge include: Mac OS, Windows OS, iOS, inventory management, and Active Directory.
Additionally, the candidate must be available to work during the occasional off-hours change management windows for our production services, be available to travel to our remote offices, and display exceptional customer service skills.
Basic Job Roles:
Provides support for Macs, PCs, mobile devices and printers including setup, deployment, and troubleshooting at our campus locations and remote offices.

Provides technical support, assistance and consultation to students, faculty, and staff in assigned areas.
Â
Maintains a working inventory of all assets within the organization.
Answers questions on-site or via telephone/Zoom.
Â
Assists System Administrators with user accounts and permissions (i.e. email, calendar and network shares).
Â
Resolves, escalates, or refers technical problems as appropriate.
Keeps track and documents all work using standard ticketing solution.
Â
Required Experience:
Exceptional customer service and customer relations, supporting senior level staff.
Â
Exceptional Mac OS and iOS experience (OS 11.x, iOS 15.x)
Â
Experience with Microsoft operating systems/application administration: substantial knowledge and proficiency with Windows 10/11 & Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Â
Knowledge of computing environments. Experience with networks, workstations, printers, wireless communications, security software and procedures.
Â
Experience with configuring computer hardware, as well as advanced configuration, firmware &Â driver troubleshooting techniques.
Â
Preferred Knowledge:
Experience with ManageEngine Products (AD Manager, SelfService, Desktop Central).
Â
Experience with various security tools (Sentinel One & Varonis).
Â
Experience with asset management system (Asset Panda).
