Action Communications is a locally owned and operated communications company in Scottsbluff. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Field Technician. Every day on the job will be different in this fast-paced work environment. Salary will be based on experience. Normal business hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 5:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and providing technical support with communications systems for public safety and private customers, including; VHF,UHF, 800, 900 Mhz analog, digital systems, mobile, portable, dispatch consoles, and Cambium microwave systems.
• Work with customers to prepare quotes, bids, and schedules.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve wireless communication equipment problems with customers.
• Install coaxial cable, connectors, antennas, and couplers in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards.
• Provide hands-on and monitoring of communications equipment and hardware installation such as base stations, repeaters, mobile devices, portable devices, wireless broadband devices, and more.
• Travel and on-call work as needed.
